This Privacy Policy describes how Seavaint Health Nursing Inc, doing business as Seavaint Health ("Seavaint", "we", "us") collects and uses information when you visit our website at seavaint.com (the "Site"). 1. Information we collect through this Site
This Site is designed to provide information about Seavaint Health and to direct patients to our HIPAA-aware patient portal for booking and intake. This Site does not collect personal medical information. The information we may collect through the Site includes:
- Browser and device information: IP address (truncated where feasible), browser type, operating system, referrer, and pages viewed.
- Cookies, analytics, and tracking technologies: Including Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Meta Pixel, and similar tools used for site analytics, performance, and advertising. See Section 5 below for details and opt-out options.
- Contact information you choose to send: If you email or call us, we receive the contact information you provide. Please do not include health information in general contact requests.
2. How we use information
We use the information described above to operate and improve the Site, respond to general inquiries, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use this information to make decisions about your care, and we do not sell personal information.
3. Booking, intake, and clinical messaging
Booking, intake forms, secure messaging, and visit-related communication occur through our patient portal (Optimantra), not on this Site. Information you provide in the portal is protected health information and is handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices.
4. Psychiatry billing through Headway
For psychiatry visits we use Headway, Inc. to verify insurance eligibility, process claims, and bill copayments. Information you submit to Headway is governed by Headway’s privacy notice and applicable business associate agreements.
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to make the Site work. We may use optional analytics cookies only after consent where required. You can manage browser cookies in your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.
6. Your rights (California)
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), including the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to delete personal information (subject to exceptions), to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

7. Data retention
We retain Site information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law. Clinical records are retained under separate healthcare retention rules.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
