Acute Care

Common, urgent-but-not-emergency concerns that telehealth can address safely. UTIs, BV, yeast infections, and short-term issues that need quick attention.

Some symptoms cannot wait a week, but they do not need an emergency room either. Our acute care visits are built for the in-between: a fast, clinically careful look at what is going on and a clear plan for next steps.

If your symptoms are severe, rapidly worsening, or involve warning signs, please seek urgent or emergency care instead.

Frequently asked questions

How soon can I be seen?

Next-day appointments are usually available.

When should I avoid telehealth and seek urgent care?

Seek urgent or emergency care for severe pain, fever, fainting, chest pain, trouble breathing, bleeding, or any symptom that feels severe or rapidly worsening.

Can I get a same-day prescription?

If clinically appropriate after your visit, prescriptions may be routed the same day. Prescribing is not automatic.

Do you accept insurance?

Acute care is cash pay. Psychiatry is the only service billed through insurance, via Headway.
