HRT evaluation and follow-up are well suited to telehealth for many patients. Some patients may need labs or in-person evaluation, especially if there are bleeding concerns, cardiovascular risk factors, or breast cancer history.
Telehealth is not a substitute for emergency care. Call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or for mental health crises call or text 988.
Treatment may include systemic estrogen with or without progesterone, vaginal estrogen, non-hormonal options, and lifestyle support. HRT is not appropriate for everyone, and prescribing is not automatic.
This service is cash pay. Current pricing is shown in the patient portal at booking. We can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement on request.
For many healthy adults under 60 or within 10 years of menopause, HRT is considered safe and effective. Risks vary based on history.
HRT does not directly cause weight gain. Some patients feel better and find weight easier to manage.
Length of use is individualized. Many adults take HRT for years; others use it short-term for specific symptoms.
Sometimes. Labs may help with planning. They are not always required for diagnosis.
