When telehealth may be appropriate

Telehealth is a practical setting for symptom review, treatment discussion, follow-up, and medication management. Some patients may need labs or in-person evaluation depending on history.

When to seek urgent or in-person care instead

Seek urgent or emergency care right away if you have:
  • Heavy or unexpected bleeding
  • Severe pelvic pain
  • Chest pain or shortness of breath
  • Signs of stroke
  • Severe mood symptoms or thoughts of harm

Telehealth is not a substitute for emergency care. Call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or for mental health crises call or text 988.

What treatment may include

Care is individualized and may include lifestyle support, non-hormonal medication, vaginal estrogen, systemic hormone replacement therapy when appropriate, sleep care, and discussion of bone, cardiovascular, and metabolic health over time. Prescriptions are not automatic.

Pricing

This service is cash pay. Current pricing is shown in the patient portal at booking. We can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement on request.
